The International Commission of Military History is glad to make circulating the undergraduate Merriman Essay prize call in Military and/or International History offered by the Department of History at Lancaster University and a Call for Papers for the European Initiative on Security Studies (EISS) Conference. ICMH President's key-note speech in Greece
The Hellenic Army General Staff and the Institute of International Relations organized its 2nd Land Forces Conference in Vari, Greece, between September 27th and 28th, 2018. The topic of the conference was: “Multi-Domain Battle and the Role of Land Forces”. The ICMH President, Massimo de Leonardis, delivered the key-note speech on "The Role of Land Forces in Joint and Combined Operations: Lessons from the Past and a Look to the Future". Acta of the XLIV ICMH Congress in Israel
The speakers at the XLIV Congress of the International Commission of Military History, held in Israel from 2 to 7 September 2018, should send their final papers to Colonel Benny Michelsohn (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) by 31 December 2018 in order to be published in the Acta. The papers have to be submitted in English or French, in MS Word format [preferably font 12, line spacing 1.5]. Please indicate special features requested. Notes [footnotes or endnotes] should be written by academic standards.

André Corvisier Prize 2019 for PhD Theses
The International Commission of Military History awards the André Corvisier Prize for PhD theses on Military History, named after the distinguished French scholar who was for ten years President of ICMH and then President of Honour. For the 2019 edition, the prize will be awarded for a PhD thesis discussed and approved in 2018 in a recognized University.
