The winner of the 2018 Corvisier Prize (updated)

At unanimity of votes, the Jury of the Corvisier Prize choose Mr. Maxime Petitjean’s dissertation as the laureate of the 2018 edition of the Corvisier Prize. The members of the jury de soutenance de thèse unanimously agreed about the importance of the work of Mr. Petitjean, which, when published, will be a fundamental volume on the subject.

New Researchers’ Conference, 16 & 17 November 2018

The 9th New Researchers' conference organised by the British Commission for Military History will be held at the University of Southampton on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 November 2018. Its purpose is to bring together current research by postgraduate and early career scholars in the field of military history and related disciplines.

The presentation of the XXIII ICHS Congress

The ICMH will participate to the Congress of the International Committee of Historical Sciences, to which is affiliated, in Poznan in August 2020. Close contacts with the International Commission of History of International Relations produced the proposal, accepted by ICHS, of joint panels of six scholars for each Commission on the general subject Disarmament and Rearmament after the World Wars in the XX century.

2016 Acta now available for download

The volume with the proceedings of the 2016 ICMH Congress held in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) has been now released by the Publisher (Publishing House Veles). According to 2018 General Assembly Agenda, the Bulgaria Commission of Military History will present the Acta on September 6th during the 44th ICMH Congress in Jerusalem.
