New post on the blog of the ICMH Archives Committee

A new post has been published on the blog of the ICMH Archives Committee, hosted at https://cam.hypotheses.org/. The contribution, with the support of the Secretary-General of the Committee, Kathleen Van Acker, focuses on the discovery and repatriation of archives long presumed lost: those of the Belgian Ministry of Defence relating to the Second World War.

For the ICMH community, it is a very important achievement and it shows how the community of specialists in the field of the Military Archives could enlarge the knowledge over the archives and share common experience and practices during the Congress.

ICMH President Dr. Harold E. Raugh Jr. expressed his appreciation for the Committee’s work, particularly for the dedicated leadership of the Archives Committee, Flavio Carbone (President) and Kathleen Van Acker (SG).
