Affiliate Individual Scholars

In order to widen its audience, to offer a forum to individual scholars, and to enhance its scientific standing, the International Commission of Military, the local structure of which is based on National Commissions, offers to single scholars the possibility of joining as Affiliate Individual Scholars. This affiliation is open to persons who cultivate their interest in Military History.

Applications must be sent to the ICMH Secretary General, Dr. Efpraxia Paschalidou (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), attaching a short CV. Applications from citizens of States where there is no National Commission will be acted upon by the ICMH ExBoard. Applications from citizens of States where there is a National Commission will be first of all considered by the said Commission, which may reject them. If the application is approved, the final decision will be taken by the ICMH ExBoard.

Affiliate Individual Scholars will pay an annual fee of € 80. They will be entitled to a free subscription to the International Journal of Military History and Historiography and to a free copy of the International Review of Military History and of the Acta of Congresses published in the year of affiliation. They will be entitled to submitting for approval a paper to the ICMH annual Congress. Failure to pay the fee for two consecutive years entails automatic suspension. The ICMH ExBoard can exclude any Affiliate Individual Scholars for motivated reasons.
