XI edition of the André Corvisier Prize for Ph.D. Theses in Military History

The International Commission of Military History is pleased to announce the XI edition of the André Corvisier Prize for Ph.D. Theses in Military History. The Prize recognises outstanding doctoral research in Military History and related fields. The 2027 edition is open to candidates under 40 years of age whose Ph.D. thesis was approved in 2026 at a recognised university.

The Prize amounts to €1,000, with an additional €1,500 to support the recipient’s participation in the LII ICMH Congress in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 22–27 August 2027.

Application deadline: 15 February 2027.
