The ICMH President appointed by the Italian Ministry of Culture

The President of ICMH, Prof. Massimo de Leonardis, has been appointed by the Italian Ministry of Culture, member of the “Giunta storica nazionale” (National Board for the Historical Studies). The “Giunta” supervises a number of specialized institutes and proposes to the Minister their Directors.

André Corvisier Prize 2024

The International Commission of Military History awards the André Corvisier Prize for PhD theses on Military History, named after the distinguished French scholar who was for ten years President of ICMH and then President of Honour. For the 2024 edition, the prize will be awarded for a PhD thesis discussed and approved in 2023 at a recognized University.
